Hydrocodone Bitartrate (CII), USP is a semi-synthetic opioid derived from codeine and is used as a antitussive and narcotic analgesic via oral administration. It is a DEA CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – SCHEDULE II drug and does require DEA registration by the customer and completion of DEA purchase notification forms. All Spectrum Chemical USP grade products are manufactured, packaged and stored under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) per 21CFR part 211 in FDA registered and inspected facilities.
