Estriol is a 3-hydroxy steroid that is classified as a major urinary estrogen. It serves as an estrogen, a human metabolite, a human xenobiotic metabolite, and a mouse metabolite. Estriol plays an important role during pregnancy, as a large amount of it is produced by the placenta. It is available in the U.S through compounding pharmacies. 

Estriol, Micronized, USP is a sex hormone that is used in hormone replacement therapy. All Spectrum Chemical USP products are manufactured, packaged and stored under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) per 21CFR part 211 in FDA registered and inspected facilities.
