Description
The CTC Analytics MM 01-00D Fast Wash Station Module is a high-speed cleaning component designed for the PAL series of autosamplers. It is an essential part of the liquid handling system, specifically used to clean the syringe needle between samples to prevent cross-contamination (carryover) in high-throughput liquid chromatography (LC) and mass spectrometry (MS) applications. It can be integrated with active solvent pumps to provide a continuous flow of wash solvent, significantly reducing the time required for cleaning compared to static wash reservoirs. The “Fast” designation refers to the module’s ability to quickly fill and drain, minimizing the time the autosampler is “offline” between injections.
