Description

Nalgene 2199-0032 IP2 Passport HDPE Wide Mouth Bottles, 32 oz (1L.) Store dry or liquid materials in Nalgene® Wide-Mouth HDPE IP2 Bottles. Ideal as inner containers for customers who design, assemble and certify their own combination packaging. Made of HDPE with polypropylene closures, these bottles are excellent for small-scale inter-lab shipping of hazardous samples and chemicals such as corrosives and cleaning compounds. Heavy-duty walls are designed to resist splitting and puncturing from shipping shocks.

*Nalgene defines LEAK PROOF as:

Bottle/flask/funnel closure systems with closures smaller than 100mm, after they are filled with water, inverted, withstand air pressure of 2psig for 2 minutes, and no water escapes
Bottle/funnel/flask closure systems of larger than 100mm after they are filled with water, inverted for 15 minutes, and no water escapes.

Note: these tests, using other liquids, may not yield the same results. To ensure safe usage, customers are advised to test Thermo Scientific Nalgene bottles and closures under conditions of their planned applications. Thermo Scientific Nalgene products are leakproof at ambient temperature and pressure when used with their Nalgene closures.
