Cap, Chem Snap, 11mm, Natural, Pre-Cut Septa, PTFE/Silicone. Chem Snap Caps include pre-cut septa where only the carrier is cut through in a Y-form, leaving the PTFE lamination intact. The unhurt PTFE lamination gives 100% protection to the sample while leaving a 0.05mm thick PTFE portion remaining for needle penetration. The Y-form in the pre-cut silicone allows for a better flow of air during sample pick up in order to avoid a vacuum in the vial. Made in the United States.
