Calcium Nitrate, Tetrahydrate, Purified is a colorless solid that absorbs moisture from air. Calcium nitrate is used mainly as a component in fertilizer and in the manufacturing of cooling packs. The Purified Grade describes chemicals of good quality where there are no official standards and is normally limited to inorganic chemicals.
