Fetal Bovine Serum, Heat Inactivated, USDA Approved Origin, 50 mL. RMBIO FBS (Fetal Calf Serum) is sourced from USDA-approved suppliers and is processed in our cGMP-compliant, ISIA traceability certified, and FDA-registered facility. RMBIO FBS (Fetal Calf Serum) is processed under strict protocols that ensure sterility, high quality, and excellent growth-promotion and performance over a range of applications and cell lines. The average endotoxin level is < 1 EU/mL, the average hemoglobin level is < 19 mg/dL, and the total protein specification is 3.0-4.5 g/dL. Our FBS is heat inactivated at 56°C for 30 minutes to help protect against any growth inhibiting serum complement that may be present. All lots of FBS are triple 0.1 um sterile filtered and 9CFR-tested. Product should be stored at ± -10° C.
