19mm Tru-Stir Stirrer Shaft Coupling, 5/8″ Upper Female Coupling. The unique design of our Tru-Stir stirrer shaft coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your stirrer shafts to overhead stir motors. Coupling incorporates a unique helical S.S. spring permitting up to 1/4″ of offset misalignment and 45 degrees of angular misalignment. Coupling is rated for 24 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated with common coil springs. Lower portion of coupling has a nylon adapter with a one piece collar for attachment to 10, 19, 25.4 and 30mm stir shafts. Upper adapters permit the coupling to be used with a standard Jacobs style 3-jaw chuck or motors having shaft diameters of 5/16″, 3/8″, 12mm, 1/2″, 5/8″ or 3/4″. Adapter is also available for use with CG-2047 flexible shafts having 5/16″ end fittings. Overall length of the coupling is 4″. Supplied complete with an Allen wrench set.
