The Chemglass AF-0509-12 is a high-precision Airfree Schlenk flushing adapter designed for handling air-sensitive compounds. It enables the simultaneous purging and evacuation of reaction vessels, or the introduction of inert gas while sampling directly through the stopcock bore. Some of the common applications include organometallic synthesis, vacuum/inert gas manifold work, and in-situ sampling.

Core Performance Features

• T-Bore Stopcock Design: This adapter features a 4mm PTFE T-Bore stopcock that allows for multiple flow configurations. It can be set to connect the reaction vessel to a vacuum/gas line or to a side-sampling port.

• Integrated Sampling Port: The side arm has a 9mm O.D. medium-wall design specifically sized to accept standard septum stoppers. This allows for the use of syringes to add reagents or remove samples without exposing the internal environment to the atmosphere.

• Vacuum-Tight Seal: The 14/20 inner (male) joint is precision-ground to ensure a high-vacuum seal when used with compatible Schlenk flasks or manifold systems.
