KIMBLE® Broad Range Baume Hydrometer, 0° – 50° Baume, case/1
Hydrometers are used, among other things, in the production of alcoholic beverages (e.g. beer or wine) to measure the exact density of the liquid before and after fermentation and thus to determine the alcohol content (in percent by volume).

• Calibrated to ASTM specification to ensure accuracy
• Manufactured from soda-lime glass
• With broad range scale, graduated in degree Baume (Baume scale)
• The certificate of traceability indicates that the hydrometers are manufactured using devices calibrated using NIST traceable standards.
• A serial number is printed on the scale, a certificate of traceability is included
• The ballast is made from steel pellets and a binder, and it is free of heavier metals.
