2-(2-Butoxyethoxy) Ethyl Acetate is used as a solvent and carrier in inks and industrial coatings, as a coalescing agent in consumer latex paint at concentrations of 0.5 to 3 percent by weight, and also as a solvent in the manufacture of microelectronics. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or research purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
