Cool Block, Aluminum, 32 Position, 1.5mL and 2.0mL Cryovials. Block is made from solid aluminum and is specially designed for cryovials with a locking mechanism to engage the slots on the bottom of the vials. This unique feature allows for single handed operation to open and close the cap of the tube. Solid aluminum block provides a stable working platform on ice, ice bucket, or dry ice in a tray. Aluminum block also surrounds the tubes for maximum even cooling for better freezing of the cells during cell freezing. Dimensions are 6.5″ x 3″ x 1.5″. Made in the United States.
