Porcine Pig Serum, Gamma Irradiated and Heat Inactivated, US Origin, 1L. RMBIO porcine serum is ideal for use as a cell culture media especially in vaccine production. We carefully control the entire production process within our cGMP-compliant, ISIA traceability certified, and FDA-registered facility. Our pig serum is 0.2um sterile filtered and features low hemoglobin levels. Our most popular treatments for porcine serum are gamma irradiation and heat inactivation. Heat inactivation helps protect against growth inhibiting serum complement while gamma irradiation helps achieve pathogen reduction. RMBIO’s porcine serum is heat inactivated at 56°C for 30 minutes and gamma irradiated at an industry standard dose of 25-40kGY. All lots of porcine serum are sterility, endotoxin, Mycoplasma, and 9CFR tested. Product should be stored at ± -10° C.
