The Chemglass CG-1049-M-45 is a specialized laboratory vacuum adapter designed to bridge the gap between large-scale disposable filter funnels and standard laboratory glassware. It is specifically engineered for use with the 2 L OptiChem™ disposable long-stem filter funnels. This adapter acts as a transition piece that allows for a vacuum-tight seal between different joint sizes while providing a dedicated port for your vacuum line. Because the disposable funnel has an extra-long stem that passes through the adapter and directly into the receiving flask, the adapter itself never comes into contact with the filtrate. This eliminates the need for cleaning the adapter between different batches or samples.
