Formaldehyde, 37 Percent, Solution is also known as methanal and is the simplest aldehyde. It has many uses, one of which is formol, the famous embalming and tissue preserving liquid. It is also used in industrial application for the production of different types of resins. It is also a well known tissue fixative and was formerly a disinfectant.
