The Gilson FC204 Fraction Collector is a large-bed fraction collector designed for the efficient collection of samples from a liquid chromatography system. This instrument is capable of handling a wide variety of collection vessels, including test tubes, vials, and microplates, and its large capacity allows for the collection of up to 768 fractions when configured with specific racks.
A key feature of this FC204 is its upgraded 3-way valve. The upgraded valve is designed for a high flow rate of up to 200 mL/min, which is a significant improvement over the standard valve’s 20 mL/min capacity. This allows for the collection of fractions from both analytical and preparative liquid chromatography (LC) systems. The included PSU (Power Supply Unit) ensures that the collector receives the necessary power for reliable operation.
