Description
Intact Genomics GV3101 Agrobacterium Competent cells are optimized for the highest transformation efficiencies which is ideal for applications such as with cDNA or gDNA library construction. The GV3101 strain has a C58 chromosomal background with rifampicin resistance and the Ti plasmid pMP90 (pTiC58DT-DNA) with gentamicin resistance. The “pSoup” helper plasmid is necessary for efficient replication of certain types of plant expression vectors like pGreen, 62SK, and pGs2 series plasmids. Addition of p19 inhibits RNA silencing of foreign genes, resulting in improved stability of heterologous gene transcripts.
