Compared to regular lab glass (or soda lime glass,) hybex is most desirable due to its low coefficient of thermal expansion and subsequent high temperature resistance. hybex Erlenmeyer Flasks withstand temperatures ranging from -70 to 500°C, are breakage resistant, and possess a reinforced rim. Their durability allows repeated use in freezers, microwaves, autoclaves and dry heat sterilization chambers. Ideal choice for shaking applications, media preparation, and long-term storage.
