Hydrobromic Acid, 48 Percent, Reagent, ACS, a mineral acid and one of the strongest known, it is formed when hydrogen bromide is dissolved in water. Mostly used as a reagent in the generation of organobromine compounds, it can also be used to produce inorganic bromides. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured compounds are used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
