Olympus Plastics™ Ergonomic pipette tips were designed and engineered with ergonomics in mind. Using patented technology, Olympus tips reduce the force needed for insertion and ejection, lower the chance of hanging droplets and the need for “tip touch off,” and outperform competitors in sample recovery with a proprietary low-retentive resin. This low-retentive technology creates a hydrophobic surface that reduces the surface tension of the interior wall of the pipet tip and minimizes the bonding of DNA and protein to the tip material. No additives such as silicone are used; consequently, no leaching or sample degradation occur.

All Olympus Plastics™ Ergonomic pipette tips meet the industry’s most rigorous quality control standards, (ISO 9001:2000 Certified). They are 100% virgin polypropylene and are free of recycled, reprocessed, or altered plastics that can introduce contamination and defects. Our pipet tips are chemically inert and unaffected by common laboratory solvents, including chloroform, chloroethane and acetone.
