These NEW sterile plastic scoops from Bel-Art Products are detectable with metal detection and x-ray equipment, preventing potential production contamination, quarantine and recalls. The scoops are molded with a proprietary FDA grade polystyrene resin evenly distributed throughout the entire scoop to ensure that fragments are detectable. The scoops are available in three convenient sizes, 2 oz, 4 oz. and 8 oz.
The blue coloring is the industry recognized standard for metal detectable materials. Scoops are sterile and made from FDA grade polystyrene. There is a slight proprietary formula difference for the x-ray/metal detectable functionality in the blue scoops compared to earlier black version.
