• Absorbance (BCA Assay): Used for protein quantification when using the BCA (Bicinchoninic Acid) assay, where the green-to-purple color change of the substrate is measured (peak absorbance is near 562 nm, but 550 nm is a frequently used standard bandwidth).

• Fluorescence Emission (Cy3 & TRITC): Serves as a primary emission filter for orange-red fluorophores like Cy3, TRITC, and TAMRA. It is typically paired with a 530 nm or 535 nm excitation filter.
